In this role, she has gained significant experience coordinating complex operations, working with judges, attorneys, government officials, employees, and members of the public while helping ensure the effective administration of the court system.

Her professional experience has required a high level of organization, discretion, communication, and problem-solving. Managing responsibilities within a complex public-sector environment has given Courtney a valuable perspective on organizational efficiency, accountability, customer service, and the importance of developing solutions that work in the real world.

Courtney also serves as the Court Disability Coordinator for Tazewell County, helping facilitate access and accommodations for individuals participating in court activities. A longtime member of the Pekin-area business community, Mike has built his career around developing relationships, solving problems, communicating effectively, and helping organizations and individuals find practical solutions to their needs.

Before his work with CME Business Solutions Inc, Mike built an extensive career in law enforcement with the Pekin Police Department. During his time with the department, he served in a variety of specialized roles, including detective, public information officer, community outreach and crime prevention officer, and Crime Stoppers coordinator. These responsibilities placed Mike at the intersection of public safety, communications, community relations, and organizational leadership.

As a detective and public information officer, Mike was responsible for communicating with the public and news media during significant investigations and community events. His work required the ability to take complex and often rapidly changing information and communicate it clearly, accurately, and professionally. He also helped expand the department's use of social media as a tool for public communication and community engagement.

Mike also brings significant private-sector business experience to CME Business Solutions Inc. Throughout his career, including alongside his years in public service, he has gained extensive hands-on experience as a business owner and entrepreneur across multiple industries. His background includes ownership of an Illinois-based communications company, an electrical contracting company, and a nationwide audio, lighting, and video production company. These ventures provided Mike with valuable experience in business operations, customer service, technology, project management, and building lasting client relationships.

That combination of technical business experience and frontline public-safety experience gives Mike a valuable perspective when working with customers. He understands that technology and business services are only effective when they solve an actual problem for the people using them.
